Rochester has more period property than anywhere else we cover. The streets around the High Street and the cathedral are largely conservation area, and the housing reflects it, which changes how long an end of tenancy clean actually takes.
Check availabilityOne price covering oven, hob, fridge, blinds and internal windows. Nothing itemised afterwards.
A lot of the lettings stock here is Victorian or older, often converted into flats. That means original skirting and architrave, picture rails, deep window reveals and sash windows, all of which hold dust in ways a modern flat simply does not.
The newer builds at Rochester Riverside are the opposite problem, straightforward surfaces but a lot of glass and a lot of white paintwork that marks. Both are fine to clean. They just are not the same job, and a flat price by bedroom count that ignores the difference tends to mean one of them gets short-changed.
Period detail takes longer, and skipping it is obvious. Sash windows in particular have runners and beading that collect years of dust, and internal windows are included as standard in our end of tenancy price rather than added afterwards.
Where a house has been split into flats, the communal hallway is often nobody’s responsibility and looks it. We will tell you honestly whether it falls inside your tenancy before we quote for it.
Hard water is consistent across the whole of Medway. Shower screens, taps and toilet rims all need proper descaling, and it is one of the first things a check-out clerk looks at because they know to expect it here.
We are a mobile service covering these areas. We do not have an office in Rochester, we travel to you.
Our free end of tenancy checklist covers every item a letting agent typically checks, in the order it makes sense to work through them. No sign-up, and genuinely useful whether you book us or not.

It sounds like the more expensive option, and for a lot of companies it is. Ours is not. A deep clean does not include the hob, the fridge, the blinds or the internal windows, and a check-out inventory will look at all four. Buy them as add-ons and here is what happens.
| 1 bed | 2 bed | 3 bed | 4 bed | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Deep clean | £80 | £125 | £170 | £205 |
| + Hob deep clean | £10 | £10 | £15 | £15 |
| + Inside fridge / freezer | £15 | £15 | £20 | £20 |
| + Blinds & window ledges | £15 | £20 | £22 | £25 |
| + Internal windows | £15 | £20 | £25 | £30 |
| Deep clean, everything added | £135 | £190 | £252 | £295 |
| Our end of tenancy price | £110 | £150 | £195 | £230 |
| You pay less by | £25 | £40 | £57 | £65 |
That is arithmetic from our own published rate card, not a sales line. If your property genuinely does not need the oven, hob, fridge, blinds and windows doing, a deep clean is the cheaper choice and we will tell you so.
