Booking terms
Short, in plain English, and written to be read before you need it rather than after.
We ask for at least 12 hours' notice to cancel or move a booking. Inside that window a cleaner has usually already turned down other work for that slot, and in most cases has arranged travel around it.
Give us 12 hours or more and there is no charge at all, for any reason. Move it as many times as you need to.
Inside 12 hours we will always try to refill the slot first, and if we manage it there is nothing to pay. We would rather rebook the time than charge you for it.
If our cleaner arrives and cannot access the property — no key, no answer, a lock that has been changed, an alarm nobody mentioned — that counts as a cancellation inside the notice window, because by then the day is gone either way.
We will call you from the doorstep before treating it that way. If you can get someone there within a reasonable time, we will wait rather than leave.
For empty properties and end of tenancy work, confirm the access arrangement when you book rather than on the morning. Key safes, agent collections and neighbours holding keys all work fine, as long as we know in advance.
Occasionally we have to move a booking ourselves — illness, a vehicle problem, a job before yours turning out to be far bigger than described. If that happens you get as much notice as we can give, a new date at your convenience, and you pay nothing for the inconvenience.
If we cancel on the day and you needed that date specifically, tell us and we will help you find someone else who can cover it. We would rather you got the job done than kept the booking.
Same-day bookings need at least 4 hours' notice and carry a 20% premium. That is not an opportunistic charge — a same-day job means moving a cleaner off planned work or paying someone to pick up a shift at no notice.
Online booking closes for the day once the last start time falls inside that notice window. After that, call us. If we can do it, we will say so; if we cannot, we will tell you straight away rather than take the booking and hope.
Every clean carries a 24-hour reclean guarantee. Tell us within 24 hours and we come back and put it right, free, and we would much rather do that than argue about it.
We photograph every job on completion, and we photograph anything already damaged or marked before we start. That is there to protect you as much as us — particularly on end of tenancy work, where it is the difference between evidence and a disagreement.
We do not offer wet carpet cleaning or extraction. We vacuum thoroughly, spot treat and deodorise. If your tenancy specifically requires professionally cleaned carpets with a receipt, you need a specialist alongside us, and we will tell you that before you book rather than after.
We also do not do external window cleaning, gutters, driveways or pressure washing. If you ask, we will point you at someone who does.
Prices are flat and agreed upfront, based on property size rather than hours worked. What we quote is what you pay — nothing gets itemised and added afterwards.
If we arrive and the property is in a materially worse state than described, you get a call and photographs before we start any work, so you can decide. We will not do the extra work and then present you with a bigger bill.
