A deep clean is a full reset. It goes well beyond a standard clean, into the oven, inside cupboards, behind and underneath things, and at the limescale and build-up that a weekly clean never quite gets to.

Sometimes a property just needs bringing back to a proper baseline, whether that is after a busy period, before guests arrive, or because a regular clean has never quite kept on top of it.
Cleaning a property before you move your belongings in is far easier than doing it afterwards, and you know exactly what state it is in from day one.
A property shows better clean. If you are putting it on the market, a deep clean before photographs are taken is one of the cheapest things you can do to improve how it presents.
A regular clean maintains a property that is already in reasonable order. A deep clean resets it, going into the oven, inside cupboards, at limescale and at the build-up that accumulates over months. It takes considerably longer and costs more accordingly.
Roughly three hours for a one bedroom property, up to a full day for a four bedroom. Condition affects this more than size, which is why we book a start time rather than promising a finish time.

It sounds like the more expensive option, and for a lot of companies it is. Ours is not. A deep clean does not include the hob, the fridge, the blinds or the internal windows, and a check-out inventory will look at all four. Buy them as add-ons and here is what happens.

That is arithmetic from our own published rate card, not a sales line. If your property genuinely does not need the oven, hob, fridge, blinds and windows doing, a deep clean is the cheaper choice and we will tell you so.
